Wow. I have never seen this era in color photographs prior to this flickr set posted by juffrouwjo , of screencaps from the BBC special, Thirties in Color.
Its incredible and the quality is quite good.

I completely missed this show. I am sure they will repeat it as they often do.
BBC4 is by far the best channel we have over here. You can watch it online at BBC i player, I think...
