Sunny Side Up! is a place for me, a gal who is 21 years of age and unanimously recognized in her tiny universe as an 'old soul', to store a few of my favorite things & to share them with new and (hopefully) friendly individuals.
As everyone who has visited here even only a time or two know, Lucille Ball is my FAVORITE actress & comedienne.
I've decided to periodically post my favorite Lucy moments however, I'll be highlighting the ones that are almost always overlooked. That means, if you're expecting Lucy's infamous foray into candy making or that strategically placed wick-in-putty nose, you are looking in the wrong place but, I promise they'll make you smile.

I'm kicking it off with Season 6 episode; Ragtime Band, and the scene is the gang's rendition of Man Smart, Woman Smarter.
PS- Has anyone else noticed how every time Keith Thibedeaux (Little Ricky) plays the drums, he sticks his little tounge out? How adorable is that, right?
Hello loves! How was everyone's weekend? Mine was fantastic!!
I traveled by bus to NYC to see The Phantom of the Opera and there are no words to describe what an incredible experience that was.
We were seated IN THE FRONT ROW and, by front row, I mean we were so close that I could hear the performer's breathing.
Ahhhh.
We also traversed Madame Tussaud's wax museum before our 2PM showing. Its quite obvious that I am unable to put my admiration and respect for such undeniable talent into words and so, I'll post a few craptastic photos and a clip olf my favorite part of the production.

my tastes are eclectic, to say the least.
I love the 40s and 50s, pre-code Hollywood, Broadway, crooners and songbirds, day dressses and red lips and nails; everything Grandma misses, I prefer.
Lucille Desiree Ball has saved me from the throngs of death. She's constantly on my television and in my heart.
I would love to get to know as many of you incredible people as I can. I've been an incessant blog reader/lurker for awhile now but, expect that to change dramatically as I allow my thoughts and opinions to pour forth without inhibitions on this, my baby blog, and in comments throughout the blogosphere.
